Voyager FML Screen Capture Tools

Information Captured

  • Screenshots and video recordings of your screen, windows, or browser tabs that you choose to capture

  • Metadata including capture timestamp, capture type (screenshot or video), and file dimensions

  • Source information including the URL or application visible at time of capture

  • Device information including browser type, viewport size, and user agent

  • Network information including IP address

How Captured Content Is Used

  • Service delivery: To store, display, and make captured content available to you and authorized users within your organization

  • AI processing: To extract text, identify applications, categorize content, detect patterns, and generate insights and recommendations

  • Product improvement: In de-identified and aggregated form, to train and improve Medjay's AI models (organizational administrators may opt out)

AI Processing of Captured Content

Content captured through Voyager FML is processed by artificial intelligence systems. This processing includes:

  • Text extraction and optical character recognition

  • Application and interface identification

  • Pattern detection and anomaly identification

  • Categorization and tagging

  • Summary and insight generation

AI processing is integral to the Voyager FML service. Medjay employees do not review individual captured content unless you initiate a support request, we are required to comply with legal process, or we need to investigate a Terms of Service violation.

Data Sharing for Captured Content

Captured content may be shared with:

  • Your organization: Administrators and authorized users within your organizational account may access content you capture

  • Service providers: We use the following sub-processors to deliver the Voyager FML service:


Sub-Processor : Supabase

Purpose: Database hosting and file storage

Location: United States


Sub-Processor : OpenAI

Purpose: Interpretation and Analysis of Screenshots and Annotations

Location: United States


Sub-Processor: Google Transcript API

Purpose: Transcription of Audio Annotations

Location: United States


We may update this list of sub-processors. Material changes will be reflected in updates to this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention for Captured Content

  • Active content: Captured content is retained for as long as your account remains active or as configured by your organization's administrator

  • Deleted content: When you or your administrator delete captured content, it is removed from active systems within 30 days and from backup systems within 90 days

  • Account termination: Upon account termination, captured content is deleted in accordance with the retention schedule above, unless retention is required by law or requested by your organization

Organizational Accounts

If you use Voyager FML through an account provided by your employer or another organization:

  • Your organization is the data controller for content captured within that account

  • Your organization's administrator controls access to and retention of captured content

  • Your organization's privacy policies may apply in addition to this Privacy Policy

  • If your access is revoked, you will no longer be able to access content you captured, but your organization retains that content

Component Review Portal

When you access the Medjay Component Review Portal as an invited reviewer, we collect:

  • Your name (entered at sign-in)

  • Feedback comments and annotations you submit

  • Screenshots you capture with annotations

Information Collected Automatically

  • Browser type and version

  • Viewport/screen size

  • Session timestamps

How This Information Is Used

  • To attribute feedback to reviewers

  • To provide review context to the component owner who invited you

  • To improve the review experience

Data Sharing

Your name, feedback, annotations, and device information are shared with the Medjay customer who created the review link and invited you to participate. This data helps them improve their components based on your input.

Data Retention

Review data, including screenshots and feedback, is automatically deleted 30 days after the review link is created, or when the link owner deletes the review link, whichever occurs first.

International Data Transfers

Medjay's systems are located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information (including captured content) will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our website and services, you consent to this transfer.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to provide adequate protection for transferred data.
